Cold War Vehicles Gallery
As our vehicles begin to appear on wargames tables and model displays we would like to see how you have painted them up and will gladly post up any photos you have so that your work might reach a wider audience.
These first excellent examples come from Frank Hammond, proud owner of Mongrel Miniatures, and they show a captured BMP1 in Afghan hands.
The Missile and launcher have been removed from the gun barrel although they do come with the original model. In addition Frank has added a command figure which is a modified Mongrel Miniatures Mujahideen figure. However I am told that dedicated crew figures for both the Russians and Mujahideen will soon be available.
The colour scheme is of a camouflage pattern over the standard Russian green paintwork.
Next we have a selection of photos of a Russian armoured recce. Again the vehicles are painted by Frank and the figures by Dave Woodwood.
